This preference is used to enable the applicants to voluntarily provide equality and diversity data when applying for a position. This data can be used for equal opportunity reporting and compliance activities.
To turn feature on:
1) Click the "Account" button.
2) Click on the "Preferences" tab.
3) Under the "Advanced Features" list, select, "Collect Equal Opportunity data from applicants."
To view diversity data:
1) Click the report tab.
2) To protect candidates privacy, diversity data will not show in the report until at least 10 candidates have filled out the survey.
For jobs posted in the United States, the following data is collected based on Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines:
For jobs posted in Canada, the data collected is based on the Employment Equity Act definitions:
If the applicant chooses to provide diversity data it is not provided together with their application, but can be accessed in aggregate as part of compliance and reporting initiatives.
