A typical flow of applicants looks like this – a big spike in week one, when the job is newly posted, steady flow in weeks two and three, and few candidates after that.
In order to drive more traffic to an older job posted on a job board, you generally have to buy a new posting to boost the job back near the top of search results. To renew your posting on a job board (ex. Monster, LinkedIn, Workopolis), click on Find More in the Job Manager to renew or post to a different board.
Job board aggregators (ex. Indeed) do not allow job ad refreshes – as they consider them duplicates. You can drive more traffic to these by applying sponsor dollars on the posting via pay per click. You can do this via Find More or directly with the aggregator by contacting your account manager.
